Privacy policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Packs of Hair ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from packsofhair.viewournewsite.com (the "Site") or otherwise communicate with us regarding the Site (together, the "Services"). "You" and "your" means you as a user of the Services, whether you are a customer, a website visitor, or someone else whose information we have collected under this Privacy Policy.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site and update the "Last updated" date.
What personal information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details, including your name, address, phone number, and email.
- Order information, including your name, shipping address, email address, phone number, what you bought, and confirmation that you paid. We do not see or store your card number: you pay on the secure page of our payment processor (Stripe or Square), which handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
- Account information, if you open an account: your name, email, and password (stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be read back).
- Customer support information, meaning whatever you choose to include when you send us a message.
- Email list: your email address, if you join our list for news and offers.
Some features need certain information. You can choose not to give it, but you may then be unable to use those features, for example to place an order.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information about each visit (your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time) to keep the Site running and secure. These records are kept for a limited time and are not used to build a profile of you.
Information from third parties
Our payment processors tell us whether your payment went through and the amount paid. If our anti-spam check is switched on for a form, Cloudflare checks that the form was sent by a person, not a bot.
How we use your personal information
- Providing products and services. To process your payment, fulfill and ship your order, send you emails about your order (a receipt and a shipping notice with tracking), manage your account, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Marketing. Only if you joined our email list, to send you news and offers. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list at any time.
- Security and fraud prevention. To detect and act on fraudulent, illegal, or malicious activity. If you open an account, please keep your password safe and tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
- Communicating with you and improving our Services. To answer your questions and improve how we serve you.
Cookies
Browsing the Site sets no cookies. Once you add something to your cart, sign in to your account, or check out, the Site sets one cookie, which only remembers your cart and your sign in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, pixels, or trackers. The Site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Our payment processors set their own cookies on their payment pages.
You can set your browser to block cookies, but then the cart, checkout, and your account will not work.
How we disclose personal information
We share personal information only as needed to run the shop:
- With service providers who work on our behalf: our payment processor (Stripe or Square), our web host, our email delivery provider, and the carriers that ship your order.
- When you ask us to, for example to ship an order to someone else.
- If required by law, to respond to a lawful request such as a subpoena, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights or the safety of others; or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or sale of the business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Third party websites and links
The Site links to other websites, such as our social media pages and the carriers' tracking pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Children's data
The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and retention of your information
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, but no security measures are perfect. Please do not send us sensitive information, such as card numbers, by email or through our contact form. We keep order records as long as we need them to provide the Services and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and other information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it, to restrict how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you gave. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in each email; we may still send you emails about your orders. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
Contact
If you have questions about our privacy practices or this Privacy Policy, or want to use your rights, please send us a message on our contact page.
